16.3.2009 Baugur Group hf. in bankruptcy

By a decree of the District Court of Reykjavik on Friday 13 March 2009, the estate of Baugur Group hf. was declared bankrupt at the application of the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Erlendur Gislason attorney at LOGOS legal services was appointed receiver as liquidator of the bankrupt estate. 11.3.2009 The District Court refused the petition of the moratorium

The District Court of Reykjavik refused the petition by Baugur Group for extension of the moratorium of the Company and has subsequently decided to file for bankruptcy of the company.
